2018 Seoul Photo Festival, SEMA, 2018.11.25

The '2018 Seoul Photo Festival Brave New World' exhibition was held at the Buk Seoul Museum of Art. This exhibition aimed to present photography and video works in a manner different from the typical flat exhibition. While it would have been possible to complete the exhibition by simply setting up several walls of the same size and spacing, I chose to construct the walls in a three-dimensional manner. I believed that adding depth to the space could make the photography exhibition more diverse, which might otherwise be dull. Between the walls, additional walls were placed, and specific walls for certain artists were subtly curved to align with the intention of the artwork. Each artist had walls that suited them. I differentiated the finishing of the walls for each artist, whether it be through different colors or materials. If necessary, I also varied the lighting installation.
