Lee ShinJa, Threadscapes, MMCA, 2023.9.22.

The project is for the work of Korean tapestry artist Shinja Lee. The goal of the project was to provide a detailed appreciation of both the front and back of a large number of tapestry works. The hanger is designed to allow for the arrangement of works of various sizes in harmony, facilitating the appreciation of both the front and back. Standardized columns and pipes were repeatedly used to reduce costs and maintain a consistent morphological language. Additionally, a pipe was added at the bottom for structural stability and functionality, enabling the structure itself to serve as the guard line. For efficient arrangement of the works, the space was composed in a radial shape, and in the case of a 30m-wide piece, it was placed to wrap around the circular elevator box.
