Poststandards regularly hosts the exhibition POST HOTEL, showcasing design outputs they have produced over time. This exhibition offers an experience where visitors can stay for a specific period in a new space, distinct from traditional hotels. Simultaneously, it introduces new furniture collections. Occasionally, the exhibition takes the form of a store.

POST HOTEL I, held at 'WRM (whatreallymatters)' in Seogyo-dong, aimed to design conventional furniture while avoiding the typical aesthetics favored by SMALL STUDIO. Pipes with a Ø22.2 specification were considered to have the minimum gauge capable of stably supporting human weight. While thicker pipes would enhance structural integrity, we were concerned about ending up with a form typical of mainstream design studios. Therefore, we endeavored to keep the pipes as thin as possible to manipulate the form. We strived to elevate the completeness of the form by incorporating wide seats and backrests into the simple pipe structure. In line with this endeavor, careful consideration was given to the sofa fabric. Conventional sofa fabrics felt mundane and uninteresting to us. Hence, during the exploration for new materials, 'TYVEK' emerged as an excellent choice for sofa fabric, leading to its selection. Through this process, we designed and crafted lounge chairs, sofas, chairs, tables, and more.
