Poststandards regularly hosts the exhibition POST HOTEL, showcasing design outputs they have produced over time. This exhibition offers an experience where visitors can stay for a specific period in a new space, distinct from traditional hotels. Simultaneously, it introduces new furniture collections. Occasionally, the exhibition takes the form of a store.
We have been searching for materials with dimensions that are both sturdy and appealing. While a 40mm dimension was considered structurally stable, materials with this standard size often felt somewhat crude. Therefore, we redefined the pipes to have dimensions of 10mm in width and 40mm in height, creating pipes with more attractive dimensions. These pipes possessed a very suitable dimension, making them suitable for bending and connecting. Using these pipes, we skillfully crafted sofa frames, desks, beds, and more. In line with this endeavor, we also carefully considered the fabric for the sofa. Conventional sofa fabrics felt mundane and uninteresting to us. Hence, during the process of exploring new materials, 'TYVEK' emerged as an excellent choice for sofa fabric and was selected. Through this, we designed and manufactured lounge chairs, sofas, chairs, tables, beds, wardrobes, and more.
